Just one meeting and the harness following the abandonment of Newcastle.
And it appears there's nothing on SSR.

(correx: 5 figures. doh. can't count)Anbell wrote: ↑Tue Oct 20, 2020 9:51 amOne of the biggest bets I ever had was in the geelong cup. It was 33/1, was 5 lengths in front, and got beaten by a half head or something. I was on it each way, and won 4 figures, but it still hurts. I can't remember the name, but I can't remember who won the caulfield cup this week.
Have you considered trading by only laying (once your tokens run out)? eg if you're trading the fave, L2B, then you'd open your lay bet normally, and then to get out of your position, you'd lay everything but the fave (at mkt, or reverse mkt, or whatever)
I dont know if it's possible with the way you trade, but might be worth a look.
I started off laying the field pre-race for a fixed payout but it wouldn't work with Aussie racing. The amount you can lay the favourite would be vastly disproportionate to the outsiders, so you'd have to lay the outsiders and midrange horses for higher prices and probably go well below 100%.Anbell wrote: ↑Wed Oct 28, 2020 1:37 amHave you considered trading by only laying (once your tokens run out)? eg if you're trading the fave, L2B, then you'd open your lay bet normally, and then to get out of your position, you'd lay everything but the fave (at mkt, or reverse mkt, or whatever)

Wagga it's not a Racing NSW Turnover Charge market? On racenet it's shown as an NSW racetrack - https://www.racenet.com.au/tracks/nsw/wagga-wagga
If you're referring to tomorrow's meeting, that's a harness meeting. Harness and dogs do not incur turnover charge.Bog wrote: ↑Thu Oct 29, 2020 9:27 pmWagga it's not a Racing NSW Turnover Charge market? On racenet it's shown as an NSW racetrack - https://www.racenet.com.au/tracks/nsw/wagga-wagga
Cheers Derek Now I noticed that I was looking at a harness Wagga race. It was confusing because tomorrow Wagga has both harness and NSW Turnover Charge markets.Derek27 wrote: ↑Thu Oct 29, 2020 9:36 pmIf you're referring to tomorrow's meeting, that's a harness meeting. I imagine a lot of people are saving their money for the week aheadAarondewit wrote: ↑Fri Oct 30, 2020 8:44 amIt's been terrible today and yesterday across most markets.
You should have a read of the Bet Angel Forum
They have this thread

Add to that, rail out at the Valley has a screaming leader bias.
I didn't know you did much in-play Peter ??
LOL. I have been keeping tabs on the thread, but not really noticed the impact on the markets till I was calibrating some stuff this morning.
I don't do much at all in-play on Aussie stuff as I guessed you guys would be well ahead of me.
