Hi,

i have been playing with this automation. On a lot of the matches it moves most of the profits onto the draw leaving the teams in a red position. Any idea why ? I have adjusted the stake whilst testing and changed to 2nd best price. Thank you. Log from one is below

It placed the correct bets uptill 16:13:53 at which time all the profits will have been on the home/away teams

But according to your log the back bet rule triggered again 11mins later at 16:24:36 which is what caused the overbet - however the back bet rule is only armed to trigger 1 time.

For it to trigger again the rule will have needed to be re-applied to the market or was re-saved while it was still applied .

Hi All
I found this automation file worked well thanks Dallas
I had a 99% success rate on Sunday (the only one not to go was the NORAVANK game which never came out of suspension  )
I was just generalising my criteria on Sunday but while I was fighting the winds going down to London last night started to refine my thoughts and when I got home knocked up this flow chart - which took ages so I wasnt able to load any games into guardian

A copy of this file is available to download from my Blog

https://bet-or-not.com/2022/02/21/lay-t ... low-chart/
FLOW CHART PICCY.png
As I said I haven't tested this yet so it should be used in-conjunction with practice mode.
If anyone has any suggestions or tweeks please feel free to air them

Hi All
I have amended the criteria on the over 1.5 goals % to 75% with the thinking that over 1.5 goals means that at least 2 goals have been scored in games where the two teams have played where ever or against whoever in the current season.
I stand by the 90% needed for over 0.5 goals in the first half for laying the draw in the half-time market with the fact that in the Crewe v Oxford game last night the % was 88% and it would have been so easy to disregard the 2% in a bout of undisciplined emotion as the only goal scored came in the 65th minute.
Using the criteria on the flow chart the following results are listed below

Premiership
Burnley v Tottenham - No Bet
Watford v Crystal Palace - No Bet
Liverpool v Leeds - LTD

Championship
Derby Co v Millwall - No Bet
Fulham v Peterboro - LTD
Huddersfield v Cardiff No Bet
QPR v Blackpool - LTD
Sheffield Utd v Blackburn - No Bet
Stoke v Luton - No Bet

Italy Serie B
Benevento v Como - LTD
Brescia v Ascoli - LTD
Crotone v Cosenza - No Bet
Frosinone v Reggina - No Bet
Lecce v Cittadella - No Bet

Scot Prem
Dundee v St Mirren - No Bet

I know that many of you will immediately point out that Spurs and Dundee are bound to score but the point of posting this is to stay focused on the current criteria and not deviate and be disciplined.
I will be open to constructive criticism tomorrow when the results are in and tweeks in the chart can be made

Is it possible to run this automation for the half time market and if the score is still 0-0 after 45 minutes it triggers a rescue package for the second half such as place a new lay bet for double the original liability

I have now produced a new interactive flow chart that can be changed by substituting different criteria on the criteria sheet
I have changed a couple of things such as taken out the 0-0 form criteria and added an average goal time for the favourite

Would using this file (current thread) in the half time market and using Lay the Draw @ Half Time if 0-0 Guardian Automation Bot in the match odds market solve this if you just changed the stake in the match odds file to double your liability in the half time market?

Hi
been trying the bot since yesterday and today I had two surprises, the fisrt one was that it didnt place the initial bet on one of the games and the second and more worrying was that in two games the lay bet was placed normally but the back bet was placed at two ticks instead of the 10 ticks specified in the rules, what could be the problem...

There's no conditions on the lay bet, as long as the match is in Guardian and the file is applied to the market more than 1min before KO the lay will be placed as soon as the market is refreshed

Even if you done this if your Guardian refresh rate is to slow for the number of markets you have then it may not of been refreshed to trigger the rule during the 60secs the lay bet rule is armed for, this post explains how to configure guardian correctly if you have multiple markets loaded
viewtopic.php?f=37&t=11491

Regarding the second issue you mentioned, it doesn't place the back bet 10 ticks above the lay bet

Its looking for a 10 or more tick jump in the draw price within the last 60secs, which would signal a goal has been scored

The back bet is then placed at whatever the best price is after the market has reformed

There's no way to control what price it reforms at, that's dependant on the starting price of the team that scored and the time of the goal. But providing the match does not contain a strong odds on fav even if the goal is scored within a minute the draw price will still rise above the opening lay price by a few ticks

Great bot this. Can I ask are you looking for matches that have a lot of goals to fit this strategy?

Yes, any variation of a lay the draw strategy is best used on a matched with a high number of goals predicted

Hello,

I've been using this automation file today in my first attempt at the football markets and have been very pleased with it, so firstly I want to say thanks for producing such helpful files. I've looked at the other LTD threads and noticed the idea of adding a 0-0 CS or 0.5 market closed check followed by greening which I would like to try and incorporate. Would I do this by adding an additional condition to the goal signal to check the market is closed? If so, how do I tell it which market I want it to check? Alternatively, do I need to have a second rule running as used by the check 0-0 CS automation file? I've tried to do this but have obviously made a hash of it as nothing has happened in my trial matches this evening despite goals hitting the nets!

Glad you are finding them helpful

If you download the files in this example
viewtopic.php?f=50&t=17043

And add the 'Check 0-0 CS and Store Odds' files to the correct score market to each fixture as shown in the image,
Then copy the Stored Value condition used from the 'Green Goal' rule
and add it to the 'Back Draw after Goal' rule on your existing file (and remove the signal condition from this rule, and the Signal goal rule itself as it's no longer needed)

Brilliant, thank you! I followed your steps and still couldn't get it to work until I realised that I had been applying both sets of rules to both markets in a blanket click and completely confusing the guardian. Now I've adjusted that I think I have it working properly. I've set up the goal prediction display too so feel a thousand times more computer literate.

Hi Dallas,

I'm so sorry to have to trouble you again but I would appreciate your help. On a few matches this evening I've had the problem of goals not being signalled due to the 0-0 price vanishing. I've tried to switch to using a signal for the 0.5 market closing using the advice in the other thread but cannot get this to work.

I'm assuming that I apply the check 0.5 market condition file to the o/u 0.5 market. I have amended the green rule but it does not seem to be triggered. Hopefully, the two files I'm using are attached, could you tell me where I've gone wrong please?
