JTEDL - will consider that option too. and 110% agree on match selection. you could have a set of rules that covered MO/CS and OUxx that with the right games would have a profit over at least one of those markets. conversely, with the worng match(es), you could lose on every single one of the above..

Lay Scorer & Green Up after 20mins Guardian Automation Bot
So as to keep this thread on topic I've moved your query across to a new thread as it's looking like an issue with retrieving matched bets from Betfair rather than being related to this rules file in some wayDallas wrote: ↑Fri Dec 14, 2018 8:56 amWith that rate and number of markets, it shouldn't effect it as it would refresh each every 5 secs at most
Did you add the volume condition to the lay rules or green up, if it was the lay rules then it will not stop the green ups?
The 25 ticks should stop it as it requires 25 for the lay to trigger so following a goal the drift should always be more, you could try 15 ticks for the green up as that shouldn't effect the overall functionality of the rule

Looking at doing this, so I create a new signal at start of inplay to set a signal if one selection is greater odds then other to set signal as underdog. Won't this cause a problem with the green ups though as they set to trigger 20 minutes after first rule?
Yes and on the signal rule you can use the relative odds condition to test the price between selections in row 1 and 2 are greater than 'X' ticks or '%'badboy13 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 02, 2019 11:45 pmLooking at doing this, so I create a new signal at start of inplay to set a signal if one selection is greater odds then other to set signal as underdog. It won't cause any issues with the green up rule, it will only place a bet if there is a position to close
I see what you mean now, yes it will be affected so will need some editing if adding in this signal rule
First on the two lay bet rules go to the signal tab and add
Set Signal on market
named layplaced (or call it whatever you want)
If you arm the green up after 20mins rule from 20mins after KO till 25mins after the lay bet rule expires
then add a signal changed condition
signal named layplaced (or whatever you called it)
changed between 1200secs to 1500secs
Then arm the two green up after goal rules from around 1min after KO till 25mins after the lay bet rule expires
then add a signal changed condition
signal named layplaced (or whatever you called it)
changed between 95secs to 1140secs
That will do it
Effectivly the signal now being set by the lay bet is being used by the green up rules to trigger, so the two following a goal can trigger upto 19mins after a goal should the other conditions be met
The green up after 20mins will trigger 20mins after the signal is set by the lay bet being placed
I've done that, set 2 signals at start of match to set home or away team as underdog. Lay bet will only be placed if that team is underdog. But what if favourite scores first (it won't lay) but if underdog equalises 1-1 won't it then place a lay?
Yes you would still need the initial signal to identify the underdog and 'stop' the rules from triggering if they don't score first, which I think the users who originally asked the question had then done
I have this in my own variation of this file, I've done it by using 2 lay rules and 2 green up rules
Lay A is armed till 30mins and sets signal X
Green A then triggers 20 mins after signal X is set
Lay B is armed 30 mins till 1hr 5mins and sets signal Y
Green Y then triggers 35 mins after signal Y is set
It doesn't give exactly 20mins all the time but you could add further ones depending on how close/precise to 20mins you wanted it
I also have conditions in the green after goal rule so only one or the other can trigger
In the Southampton game tonight, Derby scored a goal, market was suspended/unsuspened and BetAngel placed lay bet, the goal was then reviewed by VAR and disallowed so odds went back up, BetAngel then traded out. Later Betfair voided the Lay bet leaving just the back bet. Is there a way of setting BetAngel placing that back bet so quickly?

1/16/2019 20:24:28: [G_Auto] : £ 20.00 Lay bet placed on Derby at 2.2. Entirely unmatched when it initially reached the market. ( Opening Stop at 3 ticks. Place stop at 5 ticks )

You can delay a bet from triggering using signals, there's an example in the tennis shared files section you could copy from which shows the pricipals of the set up
viewtopic.php?f=51&t=11962
The easiest way is perhaps to arm the lay scorer rule till around 30mins then add an identical rule to lay from 30mins onwards and change the signal name this sets
Then add another green up after 20mins rule with a 'Signal Changed condition'
Has the signal named (whatever you called your new signal
changed 2100 to 2160 secs
That will instruct it to trigger 35mins after the lay bet is placed (providing another goal hasn't been scored)
Allowing for 15mins at HT this will trigger after around 20mins of play time
