This is a basic Guardian automation file for use on Tennis markets.

The purpose of the bot its to lay the starting fav when serving if they struggled to hold their previous service game then green up at the end of their service game.

This type of strategy suits women’s matches better as there tends to be more breaks of serve, also clay and hard court tournaments have more breaks so a women’s match on clay or hard surface is where the file is best suited, however like just about any tennis strategy if you delve into the stats you can also see which individual players tens to be broken more easily especially when they begin to struggle to hold serve.

How it Works

At the start of the match a ‘Fix order market selection’ rule will trigger, this will remember who is the fav at that time and no matter how the odds move during the match the other rules of this file will always focus on the pre-match favourite.

During the match whenever the fav struggles to hold serve (there opponent reaches 40pts) a signal is set on that player – on condition there lay price is <2.20.

Each time they are about to serve before the lay bet triggers it has a few conditions to check for, first there lay price must still be <2.20 and also has a signal has been set (ie, did they struggle to hold serve their previous game).

If a signal has been set then a £10 lay bet is placed at the 3rd best market price, this bet uses a 10sec fill/kill so if not matched it will be killed and trigger again, there is also a ‘number of matched bets’ condition that will stop further bets being triggered once one has been matched.

At the end of the service game the player is greened up, and the whole process can begin again.

At the same time the lay bet is placed a ‘Set/Modify Signal’ rule also triggers to reset the signal so that’s its able to be set again if the player struggles to hold their serve during this game too.

Also, if a lay bet is triggered when either player reaches 15pts in that game a ‘Checkpoint matched bets’ rule will trigger to reset the number of matched bets back to ‘0’ so that the ‘number of matched bets condition’ can be satisfied the next time a lay bet is about to be triggered.

The resetting of the signal and matched bets at these times is what puts the whole automation file on a ‘loop’ and will allow it to trigger multiple times in a match when/if all conditions are met.

Downloading the File

To use this file just click on the following link below ’Lay the Fav When Struggling to Hold Serve.Baf’ ’ and this will download it to your computer, then with guardian open on the "Automation" tab click "Import a Rules File" as shown in the image, once imported it will now appear in the drop-down box just above, you can now apply them to any markets you have added into guardian.

Once you have it imported into your Guardian the stake size along with any other aspects of this file can be edited very easily by clicking on "Edit Rules File".

With any automation bot always run in practice mode first to ensure everything is working fine, and repeat this each time you make any changes.
