This is a basic Guardian automation file for use on Tennis markets.

The purpose of this bot is to back a nominated player when serving and 0-40 down using a £10 stake, then if the player wins the next point a £2 lay bet is placed, this is repeated if the players get to 30-40 then to 40-40 so that for each point won back your liability is reduced. At the end of the game, the trade is greened up.

Tennis possibly has more stats available than any other sport so there is no shortage of sites out there where you can find which players have a good service hold. Your looking to nominate strong server's to run this bot on so its typically more suited to men’s than women’s and even more so on Grass courts like Wimbledon where serve is king, but you’re looking for any player who despite being 0-40 down can still get back into the game and even win it more often than not. Even if they don’t win it but only manage to get back to 15 or 30 points then you’ll have still reduced your liability enough that you won’t end up in a loss or at very worst it may be a few ticks so it’s a very low-risk strategy that can carry high rewards when used correctly.

Once you've applied thi rule to all your markets, then you just use the 'Automation Nominated Selection 1 and 2' columns in Guardian to quickly and easily select which players you want the rule to run on in a match, if both player are strong servers then you select both in these columns

How it Works

The ‘Back Bet’ rule uses a Tennis serving condition to test the nominated player is serving and a ‘Tennis Fixed Score’ condition to test they are 0-40, if these conditions are met a £10 back bet is then placed at the 3rd best price (to ensure its matched as much as possible).
If the back bet rule triggers it will also set a signal on the market named ‘betplaced’
As a bit of a safety measure, there is also a 'Fixed odds condition' to test the players back price is less than 8.00, if not the rule won't trigger.

There are then 3 X lay rules one for 15-40, 30-40 and 40-40, which all use a ‘Signal Set’ condition to test for the signal named ‘betplaced’ being set (if no signal is set, they won’t waste time triggering for nothing). Each rule also has its own ‘Tennis Fixed Score Condition’ so will only be able to trigger if that particular score is reached.

There is a set of rules for each player so in a match with two strong servers you could nominate both players and there is a set of rules to trigger on each if they are 0-40 down on serve, or if you just want to nominate one player that’s fine the rules for the 2nd nominated player simply won’t do anything.
The final rule is a ‘Green up and Clear signals’, this just uses a ‘Tennis Fixed Score’ condition to test it’s the start of a new set and if so will green up and at the same time clear the signals so that the whole process can be repeated the next time a nominated player is 0-40 down on serve.

To use the file just click on the following Back Nominated Player if 0-40 Serving.baf and this will download it to your computer, then with guardian open on the "Automation" tab click "Import a Rules File" as shown in the image, once imported it will now appear in the drop-down box just above, you can now apply them to any markets you have added into guardian.

Once you have it imported into your Guardian the stake size along with any other aspects of this file can be edited very easily by clicking on "Edit Rules File".

With any automation bot always run in practice mode first to ensure everything is working fine, and repeat this each time you make any changes.
