Could it just be a question of liquidity/gappy markets as it's a Challenger?

Its only the top level ATP/WTA tournaments which Betfair provide the live score and server feeds for, lower level events like ITF and Olympic matches don't have this feed so none of the rules which use a score or server condition will be able to trigger

Do you happen to know if the same applies to qualification rounds of WTA/ATP tournaments ie. the automated bets wouldn't trigger in qualifying rounds for the same reasons? Thanks

tbh I'm not 100% sure, I'd suspect it may be that some are and some aren't.
A quick way to test them is to add some markets from the tournament you are looking at to a Watchlist, there you can display the scores and if they aren't available you'll just see '0' in all the boxes
