Hi again Dallas
I added a fixed odds condition (lay if price is below 1.9) but it didn't fire today in the cuevas v ymer match. Cuevas broke ymer in game 2 of set 2 but nothing happened. Cuevas was around 1.75 at hat point. Any ideas please?
Lay Nominated Player if Break Early Guardian Automation Bot
Can you send some screenshots of the lay bet rule for that player and i'll double check you have them right, or just post the rules file and i'll check that for you
Thanks, have posted the rules file with my minimum odds amendment.
I also wondered about the rule that stops any action if it happens later in the set (before either player has won 3 games in the set I think according to your description). I set this up also to lay Govortsova today, but she didn't break her opponent until game 7, so wondered why that bet wasn't prevented? Lucky as it was a winning one, but still confused. Cheers

It looks like you've only added the Fixed odds condition so and not created the extra rules detailed in my previous post.PeeBee74 wrote: ↑Mon Jul 26, 2021 4:23 pmThanks, have posted the rules file with my minimum odds amendment.

That said it should still have triggered as thats looks the only change from the original file.
Did you check if the scores where coming through from Betfair (ie, have the matches in the Watchlist) and notice if the markets in Guardian where being refreshed.
Yes, I thoughtthe fixed odds rule was sufficient to deal with my concern about laying a set 1 loser at too big odds in set2.
I think betfair was a bit funny today so maybe that contributed to things, I'll, especially an eye.
Other than that, is the "early in the set" rule OK do you think, that it only triggers before either player gets to 3 games in the set (so no later than game 5)?
Thanks again

It will stop it laying the first set loser if the odds are to high, but it won't stop it triggering in later setPeeBee74 wrote: ↑Mon Jul 26, 2021 5:43 pmYes, I thoughtthe fixed odds rule was sufficient to deal with my concern about laying a set 1 loser at too big odds in set2.

But if you are happy for it to trigger in any set (providing the odds are low enough) then its perfect as it is
The 3 games in a set is correctly set up, so it will stop the lay bet triggering if either player gets to 3 games
Hi again Dallas
Sorry to keep on about this, but I am struggling with it. I've attached my own modified version of this - removed the reset rule so only S1 is traded, added lay only below 1.9, and expanded it to kick in for 4 games not 3. Other than that it's the same as your original I think.
This morning I nominated Sramkova. She broke Cristian in game 3 and the lay triggered fine.
As hoped she then was broken back straight away - but the back rule didn't fire and I lost out on a profit. I just can;t understand why.
The green up at end of set rule triggered later on giving me a small loss instead.
Any ideas gratefully received

Its only the top level ATP/WTA tournaments which Betfair provide the live score and server feeds for, lower level events like ITF and Olympic matches don't have this feed so none of the rules which use a score or server condition will be able to trigger
tbh I'm not 100% sure, I'd suspect it may be that some are and some aren't.
A quick way to test them is to add some markets from the tournament you are looking at to a Watchlist, there you can display the scores and if they aren't available you'll just see '0' in all the boxes

Hi - Please excuse the two silly questions coming here.
First question, I'd like to modify this to green up if the score is equalised; so, back bet is entered at 0-30 or 15-40 and green up would take place at 30-30 or 40-40. To do this, would I simply add a rule for Greening with 'selection is serving' and 'Relative Score Condition of 0 points behind?' I am sure I tried this but it really struggled to hedge, even in practice mode. Also, wishing to hedge at the end of the game in any scenario, I should also keep the entry for Green Up End of Game below the points equalised rule? Is this creating a dependency where it could hedge twice and reopen a position inadvertently?
Second question, I tried to modify this bot to enable backing of both servers if they are behind by 2 points in their service game; for the use case that we have two strong servers. I originally tried to move the General rules to Any Selection; then selecting both players in Guardian nomination fields. Again, it seemed to really struggle to fire or hedge. Is it better that I modify this current bot file and amend the second set of rules; lay bet and green up to another back bet and green up with the 1 and 2 nominated selections in Guardian (hopefully, with revised relative points condition above).
Thanks,
Scott
