The number of suspends and unsuspends looks a bit strange, can you confirm if you load a market on the ladder screen you can see the full market depth or if its limited to just the best 3 prices and no traded volume?

No its a normal market. Just a thought, could it be my VPN interfering ?
That could explain why its not always triggering, but it won't have anything to do with the amount of suspend & unsuspend logs these come from BF, perhaps there was a few more than usual on those particular markets.

Have you noticed any pattern to when it's not triggering? I've just double checked the lay rule and its armed the whole race so even a moments drop in connection wouldn't stop it from triggering

Thx for your help Dallas, It was a 3 day only of testing this bot so I only noticed those 5 races yesterday, but I will keep my eye on it and post here if any pattern will emerge.

Hi Dallas, should I be looking at certain odds on the fav or close odds to the other runners for it to work best.
And increasing the stakes does it make it a lot more risky with out some sort of stop loss added to it.
I've been using it at 10 ticks while getting used to it.
Thank you.
Probably best with a clear fav at odds of 3+
Thank you, appreciate all the work and effort
You put in.
Already learnt a lot from your posts and this forum.
Just trying to take take it a step a time ,these automation bots are great for learning to trade too.

Any idea how to overcome odds movement prerace to in play? As often I see this:

lay placed and matched only 6 ticks below
General Custard 2.84 Back
General Custard 2.72 Lay

next race 11 tick below
New Graduate 2.34 back
New Graduate 2.12 lay

Any chance I can fix it so its always the same amount of ticks below ?

If you mean so there is no gap between the price (or a specified number of ticks gap) then yes, a 'Relative Odds Condition' can be used to do this. Here are a few examples which use this

Can I ask a couple of questions please on this automation.

1. If you use £10 stakes and the bet gets matched 15 ticks lower and the horse loses, how much are you likely to win?

2. Does the profit you make differ if the horse has back price of 4.0 or if it has a back price of 50.0?

3. Why do you do £10 liability bets, could you do normal £10 stakes and if so, what difference does this make to the profits and losses?

I am looking at this with horses that are likley Dobbers that don't win often.

Many thanks,

1, It depends on the odds backed at

2, Yes

3,It needs to use the liability staking method to create the profit on the other runners, if using a fixed stake you will create a profit on just the runner your trading

Is there a simple calculation to work out what the profit will be if you know the back odds?

For example, £10 at 30, seems to win about £7 if the horse drops 15 ticks, while £10 at odds of 6.0 seems to win about £3.

Thanks for any help on this in advance.

Hi Dallas - I'm trying this on correct score football by backing the 0-0 and setting the lay bet to trigger in play at 5 ticks lower

As there is no actual SP for this market ( maybe there is for big games?) am I right in thinking that if I substitute the 15 ticks below SP (5 ticks in my case) rule to ticks below best market price it should work?

Hi There

Am testing this bot in practice mode and it seems that they Lay Bet is not always triggered. Know that when triggered it wont always be matched if odds arnt met but would have expected it to still place the bet into the market to be matched.

Any idea why this would be happening?

Thank you

The lay bet has no conditions and is armed the whole duration the race is in-play so the only two things that can stop it is a loss of connection
Or you have Guardian restricting the refresh to pre-off
