Hi Dallas, Success! I don't know what I did wrong last instruction but after your screenshot I followed the back and then lay and it works a treat. Thanks for your patient assistance.
Best regards

Hi Dallas,

I am using automation to effectively dutch all the runners in a race - bar 2 or 3.

I can see the staking options i.e. book%, back and lay liability, net stake etc etc.

But I am looking for a staking option that gives me control over the potential profit I make on the runners - as with the manual dutching option - "back for a target profit".

Is there a way of doing this in automation? Ideally I want the same target profit e.g. £10 on each of the runners (except those not backed where liability would vary) in every race - without having to adjust / fiddle around for each race.

thanks
Dan

The book% staking method is the closest of the advanced automation staking methods available if you want to place some dutch bets

Hi Dallas,
I am using small bets in live mode and it's working fine. There was a bet not matched the other day so I added a rule to keep all unmatched bets. It happened again today and of course there's the possibilty it would not be matched in play. Is there something I can add to prevent this?
Thanks & regards
Dave
On the parameters tab of the three dutch rules if you use global settings and select 'stop on opening bet'
That will tell it to take the best price if it moves by the number of ticks you set.
So if you specify 4 ticks and the bet is placed at 5.6, if the price shortens to 5.2 it will take that price.

It can still be used with your current keep bets etc

Its up to you, it can just use the 'place at' box, the purpose for the trigger at box is so that you can still catch a price in a fast moving market

There's a post here which might explain the way each of those options work, although its talking about a trailing stop the principal of 'Place at' and 'trigger at' is still the same for both manual and automated bets

Hi,

I've tried this bot on all races, and then tried it on handicap races only, but neither was profitable.

How can this bot be profitable? What sort of race would you use it for? Does anyone has shareable data or experience with this?
thanks a lot

Likewise if someone has spent weeks and months sifting through data and finding which markets/race types one is best suited to and/or made some tweaks to it they are not going to share that information so that no one ends up making any money from it.

Users are always going to need to find there own edge and way of profiting from a market, all the bots shared are intended to be a framework and starting point for users to build on, applying any of them to every race, match, game etc will never return a profit.

Trying this out today - I noticed that the full £25 stake isn't made across the 3 x selections. I've adjusted the "Armed" paramater in order to test this.........................

e.g. Naas 13:55 Log:-

05/01/2025 12:01:11: [G_Auto 1] : £ 8.80 Back bet placed on Jasmin De Vaux at 2.84. Fully matched at 2.84. Ref: 10012
05/01/2025 12:01:11: [G_Auto 1] : £ 3.12 Back bet placed on Butch Cassidy at 8. Fully matched at 8. Ref: 10013
05/01/2025 12:01:11: [G_Auto 1] : £ 6.25 Back bet placed on The Yellow Clay at 4. Fully matched at 4. Ref: 10014

i.e. £18+ staked not the £25 - what have I missed ???

Edit: The dutching tool tab on BF has the full £25 staked

Looks about right to me, the staking method used is 'by book%' as there is no 'Target profit' staking method in the automation area, this is only found on the manual Dutching tab of Bet Angel

Rule 2 - Set Signal - what part does this "true" condition play in the subsequent rules? Can you describe please?

That is the combined probability of 1st 2 favs, if it is greater than 50% (or any range you set) it will be true. If true then it goes on to the next rule to add in the probability of the 3rd fav, if the 3 combined probability is less than 80% then the bets are placed. If it isn't true then nothing from that point will trigger
