Regarding the back bet not triggering the most likely reason that springs to mind is the signal rule is being set on the market but the back bet condition is testing for a signal set on a selection

So I'd double check that first

Regarding the '0' you said you were getting in a previous post I can see that is now coming from placing the back bet at fixed odds of 1.01
The way the original stored value was set up is it takes the entry price the bet was placed at (which I think was set as the 'best market price') then calculates from that.

But that won't work when placing it at 1.01, so if you use best price, or custom ticks below best reverse price and stick to just a few ticks that will allow the calculation to be done

All checked but not working. Have attached if you can take a look - im sure you will spot it instantly

Everything's looks fine with it although it is quite a 'tight' trigger so you won't see it fire very often
ie, set to trigger 1 time means only the first with an SP <50 that then trades >150
That runner then needs to trade <50 again

Unless you've actually seen the with a signal set trade <50 afterwards and its still not triggered?

hi dallas could you please cast your eye over this please. started running this while i was at work yesterday with good results but returned today with some whopping price drops only for to be left with a pretty much full stake loss which is sickening as i had a few drops with same result . is there any modifications i can make to make it safer to green up

All you can do is have the close trade rule re-arm and trigger again but there isn't away of ensuring it (or any other in-play bet) is matched all the time because of Betfair in-play delay

... and even without the delay, bets take iro 150ms to be matched and a lot of betting action can happen in that time. Incidentally cancellations aren't subject to the delay and that can be used to your advantage.

Every file gets fully tested for several days prior to it being uploaded so the rules will always work as described in the OP

Have you checked your log to see if the Green up rule is triggering - but just not getting matched?
If it is triggering what Guardian refresh rate are you using and how many markets do you have loaded on a typical day?
Is the market also on your main trading screen and if so what refresh rate does that use?
Or are they all run only from Guardian in the back ground

I think the problem was that I was trying to apply the rule to two horses by using the file in two automation rules columns rather than expanding the single rules file to target two horses.

The rule was running in Guardian background. On a remote BA server.
I have refresh restriction running 1200 / 900
Refresh intervals of 200ms
I am using exchange streaming

The file worked last night when I ran it as the only rules file in Guardian.
