This is a basic Guardian automation rule for use on In-Running horse racing markets

The bot will place a back bet for £10 at the best market price 30 seconds before the start if a horse is being ridden by one of your preferred Jockey and Trainer combinations - and its in the front three of the betting (1st-3rd fav).

For the purposes of setting up this bot I've added the current top 10 jockey/trainer combo's on the flat and NH (jumps) so far this season, you can of course add, remove or edit this list any way you want.

*Note, this bot is to just show how to set up a file to trigger using a list of jockey/trainer names, I've therefore only instructed the bot to place a straight £10 bet on that runner, so feel free to edit this to do whatever you want ie, scalp, B2L etc

How it works and using the Rules File
Once you have it imported into your Guardian you can edit those (or any other parts of the file) anyway you want or remove them and add your own rules to use the recent form very easily by clicking on "Edit Rules File".

Please refer to the 'Note' tab for a more detailed explanation on how each rule works and how it may be connected/linked to other rules within the file

**As with any automation bot always run in practice mode first to ensure everything is working fine, and repeat this each time you make any changes**

Please note you will need to be using at least V1.57 to use this file, if you are using a older version you can download V1.57 from here

Downloading and Importing the Files
To use the file just click on the 'Bet on Jockey & Trainer Combo.baf' link below and that will download it to your computer, then with guardian open on the "Automation" tab click "Import a Rules File" as shown in the image, once imported it will now appear in the pick list area just above, you can now apply it to any markets you have added into guardian.

To see a video tutorial on how to download and import an automation file into your Bet Angel please see this link

Tip

To edit your list of jockey/trainer combo's just open the 'Bet if Flat Jockey/Trainer Combo' and/or 'Bet if Jump Jockey/Trainer Combo' and then select the 'Conditions' tab

Each group of conditions holds two 'Text Comparison Conditions', one for the Jockey name the other the Trainers name (this is the Jockey Trainer Combo you are testing for)

Would the same principle for setting up a text comparison for trainers, apply to the greyhound markets? I wasn't sure if this information was available for greyhounds? Thanks.
