UK/IRE never go off before time, (Except maybe 1-2 in the last few years in IRE) but otherwise they have to go after post time. If your seeing early off times on the UK/IRE races then your PC clock must be out slightly.rencoetz wrote: ↑Sun Nov 17, 2019 6:00 amHi Dallas
How can one overcome the fact that races goes off before the time - I have seen this multiple times now ?
Say I want to lay a horse that is 7ish. Can I lay this horse at 2 at 10min before ( wont be matched ) and then use the second rule to trigger the SP ?
ANother Question - if I Lay a price below the current price I am assuming my money is laying there waiting to be matched ?
US racing is a law to itself, they can go off a few minutes early, it's basically up to the starter who will let them go as soon as they are ready.
If you want a bet to be matched at SP you'll need to have the 'Take SP rule' trigger after the bet is placed.
For lay bets you should be placing it as close to the current odds as possible (and as late as possible) because BF uses the liability of the odds the bet is placed at, so if you place a £10 lay bet @ 2.0 the liability is £10, if the SP is is 4.0 then the stake will be £5 so as to still achieve the same £10 liability you originally placed the bet at.
