Weight Of Money

How its calculated is explained near the bottom of this page of the User Guide

Any type of scalping bot is best suited to stable markets, or when a price is trending in one direction, his three part blog series might help, it covers the best types of races to scalp and when to attempt it etc

Hi Dallas,

You might be able to help with this.

Creating a scalping bot - is there anyway a back could be placed if the fav’s prices have dropped by 2 ticks within the last 5 seconds?

Is there any trigger for this in the automation?

Yes the 'Histrical Relative Odds Condition' will do that for you

Thanks Dallas, worked a treat.

Currently tinkering with my scalping bot and changing one rule a day and recording the results.
Taking note of what PW said in a video about minimising loss before increasing profitability will really be the ethos around it.

A -0.52p loss (£2 stakes) to beat tomorrow.

I can manually scalp quite well now but when I return to work I would like this running in the background.

My internet connection went at some point today so my auto trading got cut short.
With my tinkering on the bot, I finally made a profit today, a whole 0.34p

Hopefully my WIFI doesn't play up tomorrow so I can record a whole day with the view of going live on Monday.

Whole day of racing done.

0.02p profit (£2 stakes)

The bot messed up/got confused @ 19:30 race.
One of the rules is it will fire if it is 20 ticks clear of 2nd fav. Now it failed as at one point 1st and 2nd in rank of fav were on par at prices so it seen 3rd fav as 2nd.

Would anyone be able to shed any light on this?

A profit is a profit, two days on the spin, will give it one more trial tomorrow and then live on Monday.

Will need to up the stakes in order to pay for the ongoing subscription. Would £20 stakes in midweek races leave me exposed when 1 tick scalping?

Thanks all

Hi,

Is there a way to slightly alter the bot so that it Backs first and catch the downward movement only? Also, just a few ticks profit too...

Many thanks,

Adam

Yes, just delete the lay bet rules

The number of offset ticks can be changed on the parameters tab of the back bet rule

I have turned off "confirm bets" in the behaviour tab on BetAngel but on the Bot above it still asks me if it's ok to place the bet!

Any ideas how to get around this?

Thanks!

You need to make sure you've re-saved that Settings profile after turning it off
and that your still using that settings profile while you have the automation running
