Hey,

I can't seem to find any videos or written info on how to extract data, I see there are some example spreadsheets but nothing new, just really old ones, have things changed?

What I'm wanted to do is load a list of tennis matches into guardian/watch list and for each one I am trying to get it to monitor the match and then at the end extract to a spreadsheet:
  • The market name
  • both players BSP
  • The lowest the player hit in play
  • the highest the player hit in play
  • the total volume traded
I don't need minute by minute price movements just the top and bottom they got to, so hopefully it won't be a massive data set to extract.

Also, is there a way to do this without the market being loaded into the main ladder interface? a lot of matches clash, can it be done in the background from guardian or the watch list, whilst I'm trading other markets?

I cant find any tutorials or anything on how to go about this, does anyone have any advice or have done something similar?

Many Thanks
Andy

the lowest will be 1.01, the highest will be 1000 on every match, one wins one dosn't.

Hi Andy, yes this would be stored values, and excel intergration :)

Start with the Bet Angel User Guide
You can try the BA youtube channel, too.

I would suggest aiming for a graph which plots the price data of the players over time instead, as this would be more useful to you than IP low/high.

Best of luck with it

It wasn't meant as sarcastic, it was to point out that it's covered in the manual.

You don't even need the Excel integration part, if you log the stored values & have 'Export report on market closure' ticked in guardian then you can extract the data out from the resulting log files.
