Dont know if this helps anyone. I was running the latest version of excel (2021). This spread sheet does not work on the later version of excel, so i am guessing a lot of functions have changed.
Rather than trying to alter the code. I got myself an x86 (32bit) version of excel 2010, not hard to get if you know where to look, set it up on my 2nd machine and it all works perfectly with no errors. So just try to recreate the environment it was made in and you should not encounter any problems, means stepping back a few gens but well worth the trouble.
I do have a 64bit version of windows, no issues with the 32 bit excel.

Hi all.
It seems i'm only 9 years late to the party!
Unfortunately the Google Drive link doesn't work
I don't suppose anyone is able to share this spreadsheet with me?
Thanks
Mark

I have also been pointed here today, anyone care to share ?
4 people here asking for the link to Switesh's much-vaunted data capture sheet, all ignored by Bet Angel Forumites with a variation of *Bystander Effect* clearly at play.

I think I missed the initial post and never actually saw the excel sheet. Thanks for the re-download, will take a look at some time.
Down the rabbit hole with Chat GPT and speed ratings/PRB's...etc and other excel stuff at the moment. Might need to plug my brain into the internet directly, although that didn't work out too well in the following movie...

Morning guys, having downloaded the file I get this error. Is there quick fix to solve this as I do not have any vba skills as such. Any help to get the sheet to work would be much appreciated. Cheers.

Further to the above, has anyone managed to run this file on a 64 bit system? Just so I don`t waste my time if it isn`t possible. Cheers Dan
This is by no stretch of the imagination a patch on the recorder produced by Switesh but it works and is easier to modify to capture the data you are looking for. The output looks like this.
This was just done and the sheet was connected via the Excel tab and not via Guardian

It`s not my intention to leave it accessible for an extended period.

Thank you Atho55, much appreciated. I will check this out. Cheers for taking the time to reply.
Did a few sample recordings yesterday and although not the best format to have it is possible to create a series of Pivots driven by a single slicer using the race name to pick out details of the runners. This is Back odds on 2 races.
Having the ability to export SV`s to the Excel template means you can massively expand what you can record.

Cheers Atho55 this looks exactly what I am looking for. Can this sheet not be assigned in guardian Excel at all? Either way thank you so much for taking time to answer my question. Dan..
