Don't they have anything like "failover" clusters, an outage shouldn't take the whole thing down in this day and age... sounds like lack of investment in HA architecture

Do they void bets if the outage started before in-play? There was something about it in their outage rules but I can`t recall.

No, they convert them into bets. I've been shafted twice in four days.

Maintenance in the morning, outage in the evening. I won't put the two together... oh, I just did.

Thankfully I wasn't trading, I'd already hit my max loss for the day. I think I've been lucky on the last 3 or 4, I've missed them all. Happy it was voided and no serious harm was caused in Betfair world.
