A few members of the betfairlightweight slack group are meeting up on the 21st in London, a few full timers will be there including myself. Good opportunity for anyone just starting with the API or wanting to meet some like minded (PC paying) individuals (you don’t have to be a python user :) )

I want to go but I dont have much money to spend as Ive had legal costs associated with family court proceedings.
Any idea how much we would need to have, please? Is it just like a few drinks?

I got a bit of a shock the last time I popped down to London to visit relatives - £6.05 for a pint!!!

£1.08 when I last lived there, sorry, should be on the rant thread. :)

Let's not forget having to 'book' a car parking space iro £10 an hour and the £11.50 congestion charge too. Either that or you have to park up in Stratford and get a tube. I loved living there and still miss it, but visiting from anywhere outside the M25 is becoming a pain.

£15.50 for a Pie ?

That’s 1/10th of my profit yesterday on the dogs. 😩

True, especially if you're just having one pint. ;)

What kinda numbers are you expecting?

Python's a snake to me ;) but sounds like there's some pretty interesting characters going

It was good to put some faces to names. Enjoyed it, even if the train journey back was a bit of a mare.
