True, especially if you're just having one pint.

The drive back wasn't much better. Pea soup fog for the last 90miles, 40mph max, eyes glued to about 3 visible catseyes.
Shame I was a bit knackered even before i'd got there so wasn't firing on all cylinders, but an enjoyable evening. Meeting a few legends was inspirational, a nice start to the year ahead, onwards and upwards.

How many turned up? Sounds like it went well.
Must have been 10-15, including Neil from Betfair who sends his thanks
Big thanks to everyone who came for your insights, explanations and directions within the markets. I've been very lucky to be able to pick your brains, the knowledge and experience you have is on another level. Time for many hours in front of the computer, I'm glad I know where I need to be heading.
Apologies if I interrupted any of your conversations

Wasn't sure what to expect prior to meeting up but it turned out to be a very interesting and informative evening over four to five hours. Everybody was 'bonhommie' and I got to chat to most people about how they are using the Api which is in great contrast to my efforts using BetAngel/Excel. Particular thanks to Mike for his guidance. My goals going foward are to convert my Excel strategy to python, no sweat. Looking forward to the next meeting
Bit late posting this but another meet organised for next week, great turnout last time and should be good with betfair premium team and Neil down to attend
