What's a "Goodwood week" ?
Would love to come Liam but I'm having a skip delivered, if there's rain in the forecast and I might attend but otherwise I'll be doing a Mr Benn and pretending to be a builder....and the stereo is busted in the car too and I don't fancy doing 170mls each way in silence.
Shame, you know it would probably be worth it though! I haven’t been to London for 18 months so going to be an odd one for me tbh.ShaunWhite wrote: ↑Sun Jul 25, 2021 2:15 amWhat's a "Goodwood week" ?

I changed my mind, then found out my MOT ran out on the 13th! If I can get it done I'll be there, but definately the next.
This expired MOT makes being let off speeding at the weekend even luckier ! Copper with a handcam in the village, I drove back and said "so I'm not wondering for days, you got me didn't you?" ....."You were doing 45 in a 30, but I've let you off because you slowed down" yeah only cos I saw him and wanted to do a U-turn to beg! As a reminder it's worked though, saved him the paperwork and saved me 80 quid.
There was a scheme in my area a few years ago where speeding motorists would be given a choice of a fine or a ticking off about the dangers of speeding by a group of eight-year-olds.ShaunWhite wrote: ↑Mon Jul 26, 2021 4:33 amI changed my mind, then found out my MOT ran out on the 13th! 18 months to get organised and my car's off the road, corroded brake pipe mot failure Sod it. Other options are non starters too, a few too many miles to cling on to a motorbike, zero chance of doing 100+ trouble free miles in the 50yo Triumph and I'd rather die than drive my 87yo mum's utterly joyless 05 Toyota Corrola. Guess this happens when your driveway looks like a scene from Scrapheap Challenge. Well this isn't going to fix itself so looks like it's a blue overalls day today, have fun all and I'll see you next time.
