Hi thank you for this
Can anyone help me to use this file with my horse racing automation rules
what I want is a rule that will stop my bet being placed if their is a non runner in that race
I need it to watch the market for the duration of the day
I'm struggling to integrate this file as I dont have a clue when it comes to stored values
I do understand signals
Would I need to set a signal set condition or a stored value condition ?
also how would i adjust the time frame to watch from first thing in the morning before I go to work as I set and forget every morning
I had my automation trigger multiple bets into the market the other day because of non runners when the runners moved in x amount of ticks due to 3 non runners that caused 2 other runners to have met my conditions and triggered 2 back bets when it was set to fire just once so when the time time frame condition was met I had 2 selections meeting my criteria instead of 1
for now i have adjusted my bet trigger times to separate the selections by 2 seconds this way it cannot fire to bets at the same time
Any input would be greatly appreciated

Also one more thing can any help with this next problem I came across

03/01/2021 13:07:59: [G_Auto] : Automation Signal for Mount Mayon: bet3 = 1
03/01/2021 13:07:59: [G_Auto] : Alert: bet [ Mount Mayon ]
03/01/2021 13:07:59: [G_Auto] : Unable to place back bet on Mount Mayon at 8. The order cannot be processed as the market is suspended.
03/01/2021 13:08:00: Guardian has detected that the market is suspended
03/01/2021 13:08:01: Guardian has detected that the market is in-play
03/01/2021 13:08:01: Guardian has detected that the market is now unsuspended
03/01/2021 13:09:45: Guardian has detected that the market is suspended

Thank you
Can anyone help me on this please i have an automation rule that places bets for me if certain conditions are met but i need it to not fire if their is a non runner that affects the price ei causes fav 2nd fav 3rd fav to steam in as this triggers my bets and which i really wish it wouldn't thank you for reading
Sorry I missed this the first time you posted

If you add a 'Time since unsuspended' condition is greater than (use something like 180-300 secs) that will stop the rule triggering within that time after it re-opens

Hi Dallas thank you for that reply very much appreciate your help and expertise can I bother you again to help further with this issue I dont think I explain things very well so I will try again
my bot is set to monitor the days runners by watching the tick movement in certain time frames during the day and so when close to the off my automation will bet if so many ticks movement has happened during the day but the issue i have is when a horse is pulled out the market the ticks drop to a lower price and so my automation counts them ticks which is not a true reflection of the runners backing / laying activity and can cause my automation to place a bet into the market
is there something i can do to stop the bet firing if a non runner is pulled from the market preferable if the non runner affects the price on the first 3 runners as big outsiders dont really move the price much
in a nutshell only stop bet from firing if runner 1-2-3 is pulled out if that makes sense
thank you ever so much for reading

What sort of time frames are you using?
Are we talking about previous minutes, or hours?

Just to note i set and forget at 6 am before i go to work and a fav can be pulled from market before my automation starts to monitor tick moves
i want the automation to recognise if runner 1-2 or 3 is pulled from market and to then ignore market if thats even possible

Any suggestions for my automation rules please guys I would like to use the rule of counting runners to cancel out automated triggers if a non runner is pulled out but only if the non runner is 1st 2nd or 3rd fav if that's possible
counting from 4 hours to post or maybe always armed rule of some kind ?

In theory yes it would be, it would take quite a bit of setting up with signals, i'd need to sit down sometime and step through the logic to figure out the easiest way if it is possible.

Regarding identifying if any runners have been removed, you could first run this rule then look up the maximum value using the new 'Store value from a Range' option
Then just before your rule triggers run this rule again and get the maximum number, then compare the two values and only have your back/lay rule trigger if they are equal to each other

Hi Dallas,
I know there was a question asked some time back referencing how to use stored value number of selections with regards to stall numbers.
How do we reference for example outside barier(Stall)?
So if we have 10 starters i want to ID stall 10?
if we have 12 starters i want to id stall 12?
You said back then you would need to think about it?
Anything further?
