Any suggestions for my automation rules please guys I would like to use the rule of counting runners to cancel out automated triggers if a non runner is pulled out but only if the non runner is 1st 2nd or 3rd fav if that's possible
counting from 4 hours to post or maybe always armed rule of some kind ?
Number of Selections as a Stored Value (Template) Guardian Automation Bot
In theory yes it would be, it would take quite a bit of setting up with signals, i'd need to sit down sometime and step through the logic to figure out the easiest way if it is possible.beermonsterman wrote: ↑Fri Jan 22, 2021 8:19 pmJust to note i set and forget at 6 am before i go to work and a fav can be pulled from market before my automation starts to monitor tick movesbeermonsterman wrote: ↑Fri Jan 22, 2021 8:14 pmHi Dallas it monitors 6000 seconds before post
I have it set to monitor tick moves within this time scale
Thanks again
i want the automation to recognise if runner 1-2 or 3 is pulled from market and to then ignore market if thats even possible
Regarding identifying if any runners have been removed, you could first run this rule then look up the maximum value using the new 'Store value from a Range' option
Then just before your rule triggers run this rule again and get the maximum number, then compare the two values and only have your back/lay rule trigger if they are equal to each other

Hi Dallas,
I know there was a question asked some time back referencing how to use stored value number of selections with regards to stall numbers.
How do we reference for example outside barier(Stall)?
So if we have 10 starters i want to ID stall 10?
if we have 12 starters i want to id stall 12?
You said back then you would need to think about it?
Anything further?

Is this for Aus racing only?tootatoota wrote: ↑Sun Oct 10, 2021 12:05 amHi Dallas,

Hi Dallas,
Yes it is
so if this is 13 starters Barrier(Stall) 13 is the outside
Thanks

You'd need to store a value on each selection with an entered amount ie,tootatoota wrote: ↑Sun Oct 10, 2021 9:08 pmHi Dallas,

Row 1 Store a value named 'count' = 1
Row 2 Store a value named 'count' = 2
and so on
Then add a 'Update Custom Rankings of Selections' and rank by
Stored value name 'count'
In Descending Order
You'll then be able to apply your back/lay rule to
By Rank; in Custom Ranking 1
1

Hi Dallas,
On thinking about this i cant see how this will relate to the stall number.
As no 13 for example may have stall 8, no 12 stall 6 etc
Also when i store the values do i do i store the values under 1 rule as per pic? Do i also need to add "Number of Selections as a SV rule"
Appreciate your help so much sorry if i am not getting it but im sure i will get there?
Yes this is for Australian racing and i know we have different rules to you guys.
Regards

You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.
It wouldn't be possible to do on UK races as saddle numbers, BF row numbers and stall draws don't correlate in any waytootatoota wrote: ↑Mon Oct 11, 2021 10:51 pmHi Dallas,

But for Aus racing they all match each race just like Greyhounds
So if there's 15 runners the 15th will be in stall 15, 7 runners the 7th will be in stall 7 and so on
So the steps above check the number of runners and sort them in descending order, so in a 15 runner race the 15th runner in stall 15 will be rank 1, or in a 7 runner race the 7th runner in stall 7 would be rank 1
and your back/lay rule will always be triggering on rank 1
