This is a basic Guardian automation bot for use any type of market, the purpose of the bot is to place a lay bet on every selection at odds of 1.01 but only if the money already waiting is below a specified amount, this ensures that you have good queue position so once a selections trades at 1.01 your bet is one of the first to be matched
Why lay at 1.01
There are a few reasons why people do this, but the main two reasons are;
1), Speculative bets - in early markets when there isn't much money available people will place speculative lay bets in the hope of catching a 'Fat Finger' (mis-click) by another person. Its very rare you will get matched when doing this but if you do the rewards will be very good while carrying no risk and for all the times you don't get matched you've still not lost anything
There is a long running thread where users have uploaded some of the charts following a 'fat finger'
viewtopic.php?f=5&t=2458
2), In-Play queue position - while it may not seem like it many selections trade at 1.01 before being beat, this happens on all sports with in-play betting including horse racing, cricket. tennis, football.
However if you wait till a selection gets down near to those odds before placing your lay bet there will now be hundreds of thousands waiting to be matched at 1.01 and your bet will join the back of this very long queue, so when a selection does trade at 1.01 its going to need a large amount of people willing to back at 1.01 before your money is matched, and here's the key;
If that selection goes on to win you will always be matched, however if something happens ie, a clear horse stumbles in the final furlong, there's a late goal in a football match, a tennis player comes back from match point etc the price will drift back out but you may not have been matched before it does hence the reason why queue position is so important when laying at 1.01 - the closer to the front you can get it the better chance you have of making a profit with this type of strategy.
This bot makes laying all selections at 1.01 very easy, it takes less than 2 secs to apply it to all your days markets, once you've done that it will monitor every selection in each of them and place the lay bet when/if the money waiting drops below the specified amount, for some selections that could be as soon as you apply it, for others it may be later in the day if money waiting is suddenly pulled and it can get your lay bet near the front of the queue, and for a few selections it may never be able to place a lay
Using the File
The way I've configured this example is to use several rules each with a condition so a rule only targets a specfic type of market, this has then enabled me to specify different amounts of money waiting depending on the sport/market type the rule will trigger on and if the market is in-play or not (so you can use this for speculative pre-off bets which cancel at the off, or still get kept in-play, or just have the bets placed when the market is in-play)
For example the first rule in the file places a lay bet in win markets (ie, horse racing) if the money waiting is less than £2000
the second rule places a lay bet in match odds markets (ie, football, tennis) if the money waiting is less than £3000
and so on
You can of course edit and delete rules as required, none of them impact on each other in this file so you can remove any of them without effecting the others.
For further details on each please refer to the 'Note' tab
Downloading and Importing the Files
To use the file just click on the 'Lay all Selections at 1.01.baf' link below and that will download it to your computer, then with guardian open on the "Automation" tab click on a rules file as shown in the image, once imported it will now appear in the pick list area just above, you can now apply it to any markets you have added into guardian.
Cancelling the bets
Just in case you do decide to cancel the bets after they've triggered I've included the following file which will cancel ONLY lay bets at 1.01, so if you have other unmatched bets in the market at the time they will be ignored by this rule
