This is a basic Guardian automation rule for use any and all types of markets where SP and in-play betting is supported

The purpose of the bot is to green up your open positions as close to SP price as possible

Why is this needed?

When greening up the price the bet is being placed at is used to calculate the required stake/s needed to green up
As the actual SP is unknown until its reconciled by Betfair when the market is turned in-play (and could be a second or two after going in-play) it means you can't submit a green up bet to be matched at SP until after this - by which time the price may have moved significantly

What this bot does is continually stores the last traded price from post time and greens up at that price as soon as it goes in-play as its quite often the case the last traded price isn't usually far off the actual SP. As you can see in the log below which shows the last traded price, and price the green up bets were placed at and also (for illustration purposes it shows the actual SP as well)

How it works and using the Rules File
Once you have it imported into your Guardian you can edit those (or any other parts of the file) anyway you want or remove them and add your own rules to use the recent form very easily by clicking on "Edit Rules File".

Please refer to the 'Note' tab for a more detailed explanation on how each rule works and how it may be connected/linked to other rules within the file

Downloading and Importing the Files
To use the file just click on the 'Green Up at SP.baf' link below and that will download it to your computer, then with guardian open on the "Automation" tab click on a rules file as shown in the image, once imported it will now appear in the pick list area just above, you can now apply it to any markets you have added into guardian.
