This servant seems to give an edge, in that if you ensure that you are at the front of the back queue then once the lay has been taken then the back half has a good chance of being taken but, for me (and it appears others on the thread) the bit about cancelling both sides, if more than £100 is waiting, just never happens.
I have even tried tightening the rule so that bets should be cancelled if more than £50 is waiting but still there are no cancellations.
I have my refresh rate set at 20ms.
Experimented more and it seems to work fine if I reduce my standard stake from £20 to £4 but I don't understand why the stake size should have any impact.
I've been playing around with the theory of this today. I think the problem is markets are much thinner now than they were a few years ago when this was created. Perhaps best prices are now more likely to skip more than 1 tick, potentially causing bet cancellations and balancing bet placements to be missed.
