Denmark's travels so far define why we love footy. Wonderful!

Y, bit of an unexpected surprise, at least it takes of any major pressure for tomorrow especially with 2 players sidelines

I didn't realise that! It's a shame SofaScores or Soccer Stats don't have an ordered table of third-placed teams, you have to visualise it in your head.

The winner of Croatia v Scotland qualifies. If they draw Ukraine qualifies.

I wonder if they'll use the game against the Czech's to allow the other fringe players to have a game. If we get beat/draw, we then avoid the group of death 2nd placer in the last 16....

It was worth coming second for an easier run in the world cup. Not this time though I think. To give up first place in the group would give up the Wembley route through the final stages. Also, it's easier to look like you lost on merit to Belgium than to the Czechs (with all due respect...ahem)

Seems to be weighted towards whether you think a home match would be enough to overcome whoever we get, which looks like Germany at the moment.

If England finish top of the group the ro16 game is in Dublin isn't it?

From a neutral POV not sure whether England playing at Wembley is much of an advantage, the extra pressure may not be worth it, but there's still time to impress.

Probably doesn't help to hear big Kane transfer talk at this stage either. Been impressed with Czechia and Scotland.

Looks at this stage like they will only play at Wembley if they make the SF

Dublin has been abandoned and matches moved to London and Saint Petersburg instead.

Meaning D group winner plays at Wembley next, then goes to Rome for the quarter-finals and back to Wembley after that. (from wiki)

The path is lined up for sure, it's a glorious opportunity to get into the final.
