Harsh on Palace that decision.
I agree. Jota was heading away from the line of the ball. It was simply a collision that didn't effect the outcome of the play. Why are experienced referees not as good as you and me at spotting this? :-)
So frustrating isn't it? If you need to watch ten replays of an incident then by definition it can't be clear and obvious so how can you reverse the on field decision? I'd love to be a fly on the wall when the referees get together to go over the weeks decisions.

Absolutely spot on. It seems we are sliding to on-field ref's becoming redundant. It can all be done via video. VAR was supposed to be a supporting function. But it's taking over. Such is 21st century life eh?

That's too deep for me right now. But look back 100 years. Then forward 100 years. Streuth what could 2122 look like? Across sports, politics, environment. Crikey!

This event will start in 60 seconds, 60 seconds.....unless a fat git is on the pitch singing the national anthem!

Maybe Peter should re-record countdown timers for each market.

This event will start in 60 seconds, 60 seconds, unless it's Wolverhampton in which case it might be 5 minutes.

This event will start in 60 seconds, 60 seconds, unless it's US horse racing in which case you've probably missed it already.

Yes, that atmosphere had an effect on my trading until I realised the crowd start screaming at a move forward with the most remote likelihood of a goal.

Apparently he's impressed the board in his interview. I'd love to know how that works... good at power point? Says I'm here to win? Makes coffee better than the others?

Poor Duncan Ferguson.. another coach gets the sack, he goes through the interview process again, ends up as assistant again, and the cycle continues!
