18 minutes gone against ten man and a left back in goal and they still haven't had a shot on target

Gotta feel sorry for the poor lad in goal... he can't even dive.

He should have attempted to save it with his head, seems to be his best move so farTrader Pat wrote: ↑Mon Jan 24, 2022 7:32 pm

Surely you have to try and score direct from the corner?

What a goal that is by Comoros!
James Ward-Prowse would be proud of that one

Same situation in the Cameroon game. 3 mins of added time even though there was no play between the 86th and 88th minute because of injury plus 3 substitutions after the game restarted.MobiusGrey wrote: ↑Mon Jan 24, 2022 6:37 pmMore perplexed by the 3min additional time. 1 goal, a sending off in which the player took about half an hour to leave the field coupled with a VAR review of a disallowed goal?Trader Pat wrote: ↑Mon Jan 24, 2022 5:59 pmWell done Gambia but its a shame Guinea had to do with out their best player due to yellow cards.
Surely these yellow card bans should be done away with. I don't see the point to them at all.

Talk of a stampede outside the stadium, hope its not as bad as it sounds
A developing country. so not that surprising, but another alert that 1st world problems are relevant, but other countries have a whole different reality to deal with.

Absolutely.
Quite a few football journalists just carrying on tweeting about the latest transfer rumours and haven't even mentioned this. That's pretty damning in itself.
A continents major football tournament and several left dead and barely any major news coverage either, quite shocking reallyTrader Pat wrote: ↑Mon Jan 24, 2022 10:48 pmAbsolutely.

I didn't see any difference between this and the scenes at wembley last year for the Euro finals. Same type of idiots with no consideration for anyone apart from themselves.
