I was watching Leicester's progress and thought they were in trouble, then looked at their games in hand, but still thought they were in trouble. 8th isn't great but is competent. Their major problem is replacing Vardy. Players like that don't grow on trees. Then there's the disruptive influence of Maddison.wearthefoxhat wrote: ↑Mon May 23, 2022 5:03 pmInteresting angle from infogol.
Leicester overperformed by the looks of it.

Out of interest what sort of price were Man City to win the league when it was 0-2?greenmark wrote: ↑Sun May 22, 2022 6:30 pmA blizzard of emotions, expectations teased then trashed. Leeds escaping by the skin of their teeth. Leicester sneaking up the table to finish an unlikely 8th.
Wolves, Newcastle, Brentford, Brighton must be happy. Another year that shows the Prem is a top league.
My bank is 25% up today. But my team failed to win the Premiership. I will leave you to decide whether the former is any consolation for the latter. C'est la vie! On to Champions League Final then tennis and cycling.

The Sporting Life looked at the early Champion/European placing/Relegation market.

If Huddersfield get past Notts Forest in the play off final, that would alter things, probably unlikely though.

Man Utd are looking to sell them during the summer transfer market....
According to Claire Balding, Jake Danials is the first gay professional footballer in 30 years!
Not much point in encouraging others to come out if he's the only gay in the village, but I suppose racing's loss is football's gain.
