Erling Haaland in the Premier League

Football, Soccer - whatever you call it. It is the beautiful game.

City did extremely well for years without a proper striker, since Aguero days. Only now we see what sort of an abomination Pep has been allowed to build with this team now that he's added that last puzzle piece.

But I rate Julian Alvarez as well, looks ready to step up when needed, Aguero comparison seems a valid one.

He also gets a nice mid-season break to freshen up since Norway aren't at the World Cup, which won't do him any harm.

Apparently he's a Leeds fan, so hopefully he'll take it easy on them when they meet up... :?
As a Leeds fan and like most others we are dreading boxing day. We are poor at the best times but with this goal machine at Elland Road it looks like Ill go to the mother in laws and keep my head down.

He seems to be that thing pundits have touted for yonks. The complete striker.
I'll hate it if MCFC beat us, but I'll be glued to my Sky TV on 16th Oct !6:30.

Pep's new rule for Haaland "you've got 45mins to get a hattrick or you're off!"

That's all the time he needs against Premier opposition...

Haaland did have a rep for picking up injuries here and there, so it's good player management overall I'd say.

A lacklustre first half for the man. Hat-Trick 2nd Half?

We have a good centre back at the moment, will probably be at City next year at this rate.

I think quite a few top strikers would get similar numbers in that team.

Like Kane, who they tried going for first.

Post World Cup should be the time to see if he can create chances out of nothing, or needs a constant supply. Most of his team mates will be at the WC so if they come back a bit knackered then it'll show if the ball into him is a bit fast/slow, or a 1/2 meter too far in front/behind him.

If he's legit the real deal, the team mates fatigue won't matter and he'll still be banging them in when the season resumes.

That said, he's still only 22 so when he reaches his peak at 26-29 he'll probably be playing for one of the European Superteams like Real Madrid or......Newcastle :?
