I was worried about a 12.30 kick off after internationals.
They can throw up some decent oppos though

South American players come back too late so usually can't start them, big teams really hate playing this early after internationals

This match had an oppo preoff, another one early in the match, and another early 2nd half after LFC changed system

Made a free bet at o3.5 goals that landed as well late 2nd half, thought 3rd goal was key, if that comes the 4th goal could be just around the corner

But this table position flatters Liverpool, still very much a work in progress with a brand new team

The early goals in other games would support that view also :)

Ten Hag on the way out soon I'm thinking.

Could be, he has many issues with players in the dressing room

Shame since they've been finally making some progress

They're absolutely comical, fans booing the substitutions and all, if you're losing the fans then how long before you're losing the dressing room? Brightons 3rd was a savage finish though, perfect technique.

He's the sixth manager since AF. I actually thought they had turned a corner with TH.
Surely they can't keep changing managers and hoping it goes better next time !

Imagine if Fergie was still manager at Utd, they'd be playing for hours

I wonder have the market makers got to grips with all the extra time yet 🤔

I was wondering that, flicking through the last few games in the 96th, 98th minute. I think the Utd game would still be in injury time if Fergie was still there

Bournemouth with a squad costing 30% of Chelsea's are holding them. It may change as Poch rejigs for the 2nd half. The EPL is pretty weird.
As an aside it just occurred to me that Poch doesn't match the Chelsea model that has been around for yonks. Poch is all high energy, pressing, turnovers and counter-attacks.
I reckon Mourihno's Chelsea fitted the club ethos perfectly. Boring but efficient and successful.

Apparently, conceding a first-minute goal is the worst possible start!
