Valid point but it's gone on to long all the time City carry on winning trophy's. Has to come a point when they have to say co-operate by x date or you offer no evidence to the charges and guilty.Kai wrote: ↑Fri Nov 17, 2023 1:15 pmTakes a while to get through City's 115 charges and the fact they never want to cooperate, unlike Everton with their 1 chargeMichael5482 wrote: ↑Fri Nov 17, 2023 1:11 pmAnd or Man City. I do wonder why it's taking so long with the City & Chelsea investigations but they can turn Everton round from start to finish when they were investigated after Man City & Chelsea for financial fair play breaches.

No arguments there, would love to see a relegation battle between Everton, Man City and Chelsea this season... and then would like to see them send City to "Serie C" like Juve.Michael5482 wrote: ↑Fri Nov 17, 2023 1:24 pmValid point but it's gone on to long all the time City carry on winning trophy's. But will be hilarious when all City ever get is a large fine.
Everton should survive now they know what they need to do.Dyche is good and they have enough talent.
The fly in the ointment could be if the 777 takover falls through.
777 are adamant the funding of the takeover is all in place and not under threat.
But who knows?
If it collapes I imagine the players will redouble their search for alternatiive clubs.

The punishment certainly doesn't fit the crime. FFP does the exact opposite of what the title suggests, but I suppose that's a different argument right now.
I cant honestly understand how they come to that decision. I think it will get reduced but it will open up a massive can of worms for the majority of teams in the league, the rules as they are not sustainable, nor are they in the best interests of the league.

Unless the 777 deal falls through EFC will be ok IMO.harryefc84 wrote: ↑Fri Nov 17, 2023 4:20 pmThe punishment certainly doesn't fit the crime. FFP does the exact opposite of what the title suggests, but I suppose that's a different argument right now.

But for sure 10 points for what EFC have been deemed to have done is peanuts compared to the sophisticated deceptin by Man C and Chelsea.
What if Man C are found guilty for the 100+ breaches? That would create chaos, trophies recinded, other teams elevated to Champions.
So in one way, flagrant breaches during successful campaigns over several years is Man C's protection. I can't see Man C getting anything ther than a slap on the wrist.

I would be surprised if it fell through but who knows these days. From what I've read about 777 they will get a discount on the purchase price of the club now, which I'm sure they will be more than happy with as they are purely for financial reasons.greenmark wrote: ↑Fri Nov 17, 2023 4:58 pmUnless the 777 deal falls through EFC will be ok IMO.harryefc84 wrote: ↑Fri Nov 17, 2023 4:20 pmThe punishment certainly doesn't fit the crime. I agree, I cant see City getting any kind of punishment of note. If they are found guilty then they have set precedent with Everton so surely that would see city drop several leagues, even if our punishment is reduced to 3 or 5 points.
Its also baffling how they let the 'big 6' escape any punishment for agreeing to leave the league altogether, but again that's another subject.
