Italy looked good first 5 mins or so, they've lost the plot. Just keep the ball 2nd half, get a 3rd and that more or less seals qualification to Germany 2024 after 1 game Nothing else to worry about in the group

Scrap that gone from cruzing to victory to hanging on for dear life good old EnglandMichael5482 wrote: ↑Thu Mar 23, 2023 8:38 pmItaly looked good first 5 mins or so, they've lost the plot. I can.
Wouldn't say he's over-rated. But he needs to ride more tackles and get his head in order and not rely on his ability to draw fouls. But I guess if you can crash a Range Rover and not worry who am I to criticise?

France not mucking about v Holland 2 up in 8 mins. Was hoping the 7s bet delay would come down after a few minutes but no such luck.
Denmark throwing away a 2 - 0 lead in the last 20 mins to lose 2- 3 to Kazakhstan is a bit of a shocker!
... also £15.88 met at 1000's on Kazakhstan in the MO market.

Not sure how I didn't see this earlier. Conte gone, to be expected after last weeks press conference. Spurs are always the bridesmaid and never quite made it to the altar themselves., wonder if it's the last we see of Kane in a Spurs shirt.

Looks like self-sabbotage. They're in 4th and needed continuity, not uncertainty. Conte's deputy is now in charge to the end of the season.Michael5482 wrote: ↑Mon Mar 27, 2023 2:19 pmNot sure how I didn't see this earlier. How can this possibly work out well? With games in hand playing out to the advantage of their peers, Spurs could be 6th.
Stellini is unlikely to get the job after this season so the players aren't going to respect him and he's Conte's chosen deputy.
And yes. The Kane issue can't be ignored. Wonder where he would go if he left Spurs. He'd want big money so the options are narrowed by that and some of his preferred clubs may not have a place for him. I mean Haaland or Kane? Salah or Kane? And although transfers between Arsenal and Spurs have occurred would he want that kind of hostility?

Few teams will have there tails up now Newcastle and Liverpool in particular looking for that 4th spot. Yes strange when a manager goes normally his staff go with him.greenmark wrote: ↑Mon Mar 27, 2023 4:06 pmLooks like self-sabbotage. They're in 4th and needed continuity, not uncertainty. Abroad maybe? He's a Spurs fan since a kid so his heart may tell him to stop or he may think I've only got few years left of my career and I want the chance of a couple of decent trophy's.
