Of course, his wife wanted to stay and he wanted to rebuild the squad and oversee the transitional phase.

Like he said, imagine the pressure a new manager would have this season.

It's true though, the wife said no to United and then later said yes when Liverpool came calling :) The rest is history as they say

I am often critical of footballers and managers basing their professional decisions on what their missus wants, but in this case I can only be grateful she gave her blessing!

Liverpool available to back at 2.90 at the mo are Real Madrid putting their 3rd team out tonight or something :lol:

Looks like a war zone doesn't it. Didn't know they were banned from tonight's game but looks like they've turned up in there 1000's anyway and just tore the city apart at will even the police couldn't handle them.

Maybe would of been better concentrating on the Bournemouth game :D Good luck to them it's a massive ask I'll have a watch and most probably be on the lay side on Liverpool

Good game so far, Liverpool had a couple of chances but Real should be in front imo. Real are worth watching just for Luka Modric alone, a wonderful footballer.
