Think its safe to say he'd lost the dressing room so not sure what Utd games these ex players have been watching

The solution seems simple enough Pat, let Gary Neville have a crack! If Ole had 3 seasons, why can't Gary have until summer at least??

GNs ego couldn't withstand another Valencia style having his arse handed to him period by stepping into the cauldron of actually managing instead of being a Sky Sports "Premier league Manager"

When you feel a Ronaldo goal coming and you lay the draw.

Amazing player really. Always pulls something out of the bag.

Carrick in! Let's replace one ex-player with another!

Beat Villareal. So just Chelsea and Arsenal in the EPL next. Get something out of those and Carrick could survive until Poch rocks up at the season's end.

My gut feeling with United now is the changing room has gone feral. They've dispatched Ole. Carrick will go too. There is no management there from top to manager level.
What struck me over the weekend was where does Fergie fit in to all this. It seems he's way back from the day to day. But Utd's problems must cause him pain. The urge to go kick some arses must be overwheming, but I get no sense that he's got anywhere near the 1st team.
The fact Utd brought back Pogba suggests to me that Fergie doesn't force his opinion on the current decision makers.
Fergie was reportedly was influential in briinging Ronaldo back, but frankly if the rest matched Ronaldo's effectiveness, they'd be fine.

They're going to get Steve Bruce next, aren't they? :)

Unless Poch gets smashed by City tomorrow and conveniently sacked by PSG.

But the whole thing is stupid, sacking Ole alone makes him look like the only guilty party. That's like sacking Ted Lasso and letting Coach Beard manage the team.

If you've been watching the Reading v Sheffield match, that was really worrying seeing another player collapse. You could probably hear a pin drop in the crowd.

John Fleck's been stretchered off, let's hope he's alright.

I completely missed that Championship games were on tonight.
What happened with Fleck?
BBC saying he collapsed off the ball. Was given oxygen and on his feet before being stetchered off.
Do you think the stretcher was just an abundance of caution?

He collapsed off the ball and out of sight of the camera but his feet were shaking as he laid down. He was given oxygen and I think after a while he may have been able to get up if it wasn't for the oxygen canister so he had to be stretchered off. But like the Euro match his teammates looked quite concerned, as well as the silence from the crowd, made it very worrying.

Indeed. As you say, let's hope all is OK.

In the dying minutes of a match, two players looked as if they were gonna get into a punch-up when the ref blew the final whistle and one of them ran away celebrating.
