How fitting he died on the morning of Tottenham v Chelsea.

Brilliant player, and a superbly entertaining pundit
Couldn't have said it better. Him and Saint were a must watch each week.

R.I.P Greavise...!!!!
Had the pleasure of meeting him and Tommy Docherty when they came out on tour to cheer the lads up. Around 99 in Kosovo. Funny bloke.

RIP

I said to the wife

Me: "do you remember the name Jimmy Greaves from your youth?"
Wife: "Yes, he was quite good from what I remember"
Me: "He died last night, probably England's greatest goal-scorer" (per game)
Wife: "Oh, I thought he was something to do with music"!!

RIP Jimmy, the end of the "G-men"

I just saw on the news footage of Jimmy Greaves talking to an apparently nice and pleasant chap in a suit. It turned out to be a young Donald Trump.

Yes, I thought so after seeing Lukaku take Arsenal apart in matchday2.

It certainly was a game of 2 halves! Ngolo Kante on for Mason Mount @ 46 minutes maybe did the trick,

I had the pleasure of meeting Billy Bremner when my mate married Alan 'Sniffer' Clarke's daughter, Sarah.

I was one of the Ushers and we had all eaten and it was time to do the speeches. However, there was one person missing from the top table and it was Mr Bremner himself. So I said I'll go look for him.

I looked all over and couldn't find him, so I ended up going to the front desk and asked the receptionist, "I don't suppose you've seen Billy Bremner anywhere have you?"

She replied, "Oh, he's next door in our Sports Bar, I think he wanted to know the half time scores".

Yup, as I walked into the bar, there he was taking in all the half time scores to the point I quite sternly told him to get off his arse and get back to the wedding !

I see Romeo Beckham made his pro debut yesterday. Maybe a future England Captain?

The German women should be playing the Serbian men, judging by the betting.
