Holy mother of god, never thought I see a performance that bad. That was really a new low in all the time I've watched England.

I'm stunned. What a terrible performance. I don't blame Southgate, the players were awful. Stones' sending off was ridiculous though.

Players looked tired in every game I watched and lack leadership.

Got to blame the manager and captain. Players need rest and holidays before the new season. Too many games and competitions.

Carl Walker has shagging parties every week, even during lockdown. He looked totally knackered.

Harry Maguire on the pitch for 5mins + injury time and still managed to concede a goal. His consistency is astounding

I'm really disappointed in you.. you know the rules!!!

When England get humiliated, we're not allowed to enjoy it :D

All the footballs tonight should hand over 1 years salary to the England cricket team. :)

Footballs don't get paid, they just get kicked around. ;)

I presume the match finished well before 10 pm. Sky News made no mention of it so I'm waiting for the sports news in 5-10 minutes. :)

Ah it's not enjoyment, just amazement that he even makes the squad after the season he had.
4th different defensive lineup in 4 Nat League games and if there's experimenting to be done in the final 2 games then Southgate could be going to the World Cup not even knowing his best back 4, if they've even played together by then.

It didn't, apparently. Sky sports news covered the cricket but made no mention of the football match.

Thats part of the problem imo, Southgate doesn't seem to know his best team.

On the bright side if you're an England fan I suppose its better it happens here than in a game that matters. Losing 4-0 to Hungary in the Nations League isn't as bad as say losing 4-0 to the US in the World Cup!
