Very poor performance despite the great atmosphere, in the final third especially
Yeah I think the league was basically lost during that covid outbreak period where most of the points were dropped, even if Liverpool have done well to catch up afterwards, Mo seemed to burn out after the two huge Egypt failures but is undroppable
Meanwhile City I think had their outbreak in a half empty week and were unaffected, small margins at this level

Not over yet Kai. I'm holding out hope that City will be an emotional wreck after Wednesday night and that Newcastle will do a job on them.
Gotta hand it to Spurs though. They came and executed their gameplan perfectly but after 80 minutes I really thought they would have a go considering they needed the win as much as we did. But they didn't so congrats to Spurs for consolidating 5th in the league and a spot in the Europa Lge next season!

Interesting tactic by Ancelotti..
Real facing Atletico in the Madrid derby and Benzema, Carvajal, Courtois, Mendy, Modric and Vinicius are all on the bench. I'd understand if the Champions Lge final was next week but its three weeks away! They'll need some kind of game time between now and then.
Unless it's just because its Atletico and he doesn't trust them not to break a few bones!

Pep complaining in his press conference that everyone wants Liverpool to win the title!
Imagine how pissed off he'll be if we beat Madrid

Haaland to Man City is a done deal according to reports. Official announcement expected this week.
If Pep doesn't win the Champions League next season there won't be any excuse.

I just want Darwin so we can evolve to the next level as well, enough of this false nine nonsense
