I remember to trying to set up a servant but this still didn't offer what I was looking for. I might be wrong but if I remember I still had still couldn't use percentages and had to set up individuals rules using lots of different drop down menus each time I placed a bet. I was getting frustrated because on Bet365 I just tick a box and enter my target profit but on BetAngel each time I place a bet I had to set up a unique method based on the odds and target profit. I would need hundreds of unique servants/rules to do what I was looking to do.

When he says block Derek from the forum, judging by his expectation of placing a £1 bet and expecting £12 or at least a no-risk bet, I would think he means blocking my posts from being viewed by anybody on the forum. If he didn't want to read my posts he'd just ignore them, or perhaps he hasn't thought of that.

OK - so all that really requires is for you to put in an 'out' bet at the appropriate odds and stake. So if you backed 2-1 for £10 @ 9.0 and want to 'trade out' if if £2.50 profit comes available for instance 10x9=90 (your current position) 10+2.50=12.50 (your required lay stake) 90/12.50=7.2(your lay price) The lay bet to make is £12.50 at 7.2odds. Betfair would happily take and keep that lay bet and it would sit there until(if) the market comes your way and match you up. Hey presto you'll have your £10 safe and £2.50 profit locked in whatever the outcome and you can bet on any other scoreline of your choosing and its up to you if you only use the £2.50 profit earned so far to do so. With Bet Angel you would simply click on the green up column where the £2.50 shows and it would do all that working out for you and place the bet. Alternatively BA could be given a simple automation rule to green you up if £2.50 profit or more is available and if you wanted to be fancy your rules could be told to Back say 3-1 for £2.50 if that happens.
