Hi All
Does anyone know, or put up a good argument as to the timevalue in minutes you would allocate to the first goal in a goalless game for the purposes of working out the average times of first goals
Your thanks in advance

Me personally, I allocate 90 mins as an opening goal time in a 0-0 game, because the way i see it is that those minutes have been spent and deserve to be part of my average.

Thanks for that
I was thinking along the same lines but it just felt odd allocating a time for someting that never happened

Yeah I had the same issues around my thought process when I was looking at it. I don't know if it's the right or wrong way but that's what I went with.
