Actually England have a plus score against Croatia. We beat them heavily under Capello home and away to reach the 2010 WC. We also knocked them out of the 2004 Euros in the final group game as well as the Nations League so its not been far short of honours even really down the years with England 5-3 ahead in wins. I never expected us to win our WC semi anyway

Had a pretty rotten tme at LFC, none of which was his fault.

As every man and his dog has already said its hard to look beyond France.

The next three in the betting England, Belgium and Italy all fall into the same category for me, their coaches are the weak link.

Spain and Germany will either be very good or very bad. Dark horses for me are Portugal, Ronaldo has a decent supporting cast around him.

But you are slightly biased, given your location, Peter. I agree Danny had a great year last year, but overall he's some way off so many of the 'chosen ones' in my view.
