This is going to be very interesting to see how the FA and the PL juggle the fixtures for the Winter World Cup next year.

I’m gonna try go… think it will be amazing!

I predict there will be absences for 'political' reasons.

So it's taking place in the winter! I knew it was under consideration. Just shows what an absolute farce FIFA is, to award Qatar the World Cup and then suddenly discover it's hot over there. They really did their research.

It get worse... Because they've moved the WC to the winter they've had to push back the 2023 AFCON from January to June which is the middle of the rainy season!

An independent body should be set up to check the bank balances of all those who voted for Qatar to be awarded the world cup.

This would be the first world cup to fit into my winter trading schedule, so I'm tempted to go.

How hot does it get there. If they are building most stadiums from scratch they could put a roof and get air conditioning?

sounds like a sensible idea if they'd thought about it 6 years ago. utterly makes no sense to break into the peak of the European and South American league seasons. Was thinking tho, imagine the panic if they did have an air con stadium with roof and the air-con failed - basically, an oven!!

Is that practical and has it been done before?

How much does it cost to air condition a football stadium?

So here are my predictions for the two teams to qualify from each group

Group A Netherlands, Senegal
Group B England, Wales
Group C Argentina, Mexico
Group D France, Denmark
Group E Germany, Spain
Group F Belgium, Croatia
Group G Brazil, Serbia
Group H Portugal, Uraguay

Looks like a possible England v Netherlands game of last 16,
France in quarters,
Argentina in semi's
could we get Brazil or Germany in the final?

It WON'T be coming home.
