A truly amazing game of football, don't think anyone seen that coming. Messi an all time great with legacy his cemented, great achievement scoring in every round. Got to feel for Mbappe a hat-rick in a World Cup and on the loosing side.

How much got traded in the end ?
The match?

£32m vs £40m in 2018
Ah OK. I was thinking because of the way the game went it might have been closer to 40m

I could stand in for one of the hand-shakers if needed.

Indeed. France hadn't even had a single shot on goal to 79 minutes... No-one saw that late drama and extra time / pens coming!

What did they force Messi to wear there, and why?

Putting aside the issues of Qatar hosting this tournament, from a football perspective it's ended up being one of if not the best in recent years with a cracking final to round it off.

Also I never thought I'd say it but think most of England wanted to see Argentina win, I know I did, mainly because it was Messi's last game - but it was nice just to see France not win it :)

It goes with their human rights record, telling people what to wear. :)

One for the ages.

The sick bug seemed to sap the energy out of some of the players, notably Griezman, but their spirit showed once given an life-line with the penalty.

Awesome tournament, Argentina just wanted it more!

Hope everyone had a good tourney. Got sick last couple of days so had to limit my ladder time, but still happy with some new personal bests and milestones 👍

Oh and kudos to Psychoff, for pulling of some awsm results 👏

Have to feel for Mbappe. Although he only came to life late on, he really is a world class player

Putting the weird robe on Messi to lift the cup was a bit of a disgrace to be honest. But then again the Qataris pay his wages. And football is all about money
