Football Hedges?

Football, Soccer - whatever you call it. It is the beautiful game.

I was wondering if anyone runs any particular hedges in the football market.

One ive been trying recently is in the 2nd half, when teams are drawing and the game appears dead, laying the draw, and backing unders, stealing a few ticks and cashing out.

Obvs if a goal goes in, you lose the unders bet and not necessarily recoup all the money on the draw, but if you keep stealing ticks ive found you can out pace the loss on the draw....

Anyone run something better?? Or care to share some advice....

Thanks

You'll already know that betting profits need value bets. Due to the efficiency of the markets, having bets here there and everywhere doesn't create any value that isn't inherent in the individual bets themselves. It might smooth your varience but no magic combination of them will defy the maths. In fact it makes profiting harder as you'll pay more commission on the winning markets because it won't be offset by the losing ones.

Whatever strategy you're working on it's usual to break down the bets you're having in various ways to find out which are making or losing you money (your "trading profit/loss' is just the sum of them all). Do that and you'll see if your bets on each market are good ones or not.
