Filter out U21 games

Hi. I have a number or individual filter sets that select the dozen or so football leagues I want to see in Guardian, but I still get the U21 games when asking for "English Premier League" - I think there is a NOT function but writing test filter to read "English Premier League NOT U21" wipes out all ELP games from my list - am I misunderstanding how to use the NOT function?

"English Premier League AND NOT U21"
