Hey Dallas! @Dallas

Are you able to help me to get these alerts created?

I corrected my previous post as I misspoke...

Thanks in advance! :)

Hello!

I'm new here and this seems like an awesome forum thus far! :)

For this alert (When Tennis Score Reached), could someone please help me to make some quick changes to this file or get a new .baf created with the following criteria?

Conditions:

1. When either player is up 2 sets or more, to send an alert.

2. (Optional) Also, if possible to add as an optional condition, the player who has the lead and their points are 15 or more, to send an alert.

Thanks in advance! :)
They could both be done, just checking you know the 1st option could only be used on 5 set matches which only occur in the men's at Grand Slams?
Sorry, must have missed your last reply.

You can use a 'Relative Score Condition' to test if a player is 'X' games ahead or behind their opponent

Hey Dallas!

I hope that all is well. :)

I'm very unfamiliar with programming, especially conditions for the bot.

Could you please shed some light how I could go about creating this "Relative Score Condition" (to test if a player is 'X' games ahead or behind their opponent) as well as an optional condition when the player who has the lead (X games or more) and their points are 15 or more, to send an alert.?

Kind regards!

There is nothing to program its just a case of selecting what you want from the options available, just go onto the conditions tab and select 'Tennis relative Score' from the list.

By chance, the description of this condition in the user guide shows actually shows what to select for 2 games ahead

Then add the further conditions to achieve what you require

Hey Dallas!

This appears to be exactly what I was looking for. :)

I'm about to attempt to create this alert and I'm looking at the topic you sent me to, but I don't see how to get the "conditions" tab.

Could you please tell me how I can navigate to this screen?

Thanks!

After you, open guardian click the 'automation' tab then select the automation file you want and click 'Edit Rules File'
You see the 'Conditions' tab at the top of this window

Thanks Dallas! I was able to create my conditions! :)

Could you please tell me how do I save my rules as .baf file (and I'll be all set to give it a try)?

I attempted to save my rules but it didn't allow me to save it as a .baf file on that screen.

Regards!

Whenever you click to save an automation file it automatically saves it as a .BAF file, there is no option to chose the file extension or save it as anything else

Hey Dallas!

I had to save it in the conditions area and then go back to the main Guardian automation did which finally worked to get it saved as the .baf file.

Thanks a lot for your help with this! Have a great day! :)

Hey Dallas!

I did a test on my alerts and it's working out great so far! :)

I do have a quick question for ya...I have the trigger to alert 1 time and I'm not sure if that means only 1 time for the entire match or every time the condition is met.

I would like to set it so that it will only trigger 1 time per set (once the condition is met). If it is currently not setup correctly, is there a way for me to set it that way?

The easiest way is to add a 'fixed score condition
Sets 0-0
Games ANY
Points 0-0

Then duplicate the whole rule and change the fixed score condition to
Sets 1-0
Games ANY
Points 0-0

Then again and change to to
Sets 0-1
Games ANY
Points 0-0

that would be the end of the game for all matches except the big four tournaments, plus how many games finish 6-0. that is why it is not working!!!!

Yes. I've tried with 0 sets and 6-0 score - for the first set and it did not trigger, so I tried to increase set score to 1. I try to set up alert if first set ends with 6-0 or 6-1 score.

Those scores never occur, if a match was 5-0 (40-30) and player 'A' won the next point the score would be
1-0 Sets
0-0 Games
0-0 Points

I posted the solution to what you wanted to achieve in this thread last week
