Trying to use these times for some automation and need it to be specific for course and distance. But there seems to be some discrepancy with the rounding up or down for number of furlongs.

For example at Down Royal yesterday evening there were races of 1m4f150y, which I would assume rounds up to 1m5f (or 13f). But Betfair/Bet Angel showed it as 1m4f (so 12f).

Does anyone know what number of yards is the 'cut off point' for rounding up or down a furlong? I would have assumed anything over 110y rounds up but seems not.

The first race today at Tramore is 2m175y which is showing as 2m1f on Betfair and therefore 17f, so it's rounded up.

Is it possible to add a sound alert to the timer at a specific point. For example say i wanted an alert when the % time left hits 30.

Yes, that can be done

You just need to add a 'Play Sound Alert rule' and select the sound file on the parameters tab
https://www.betangel.com/user-guide/ale ... ters_.html

Then add a Stored value condition;
The Stored value named 'remaining%'
for the market
is less 31%

Hi Dallas

I trust you are well.

I am trying to use the remaining% SV of a race to place a trade/trades.

Could you point me in the correct direction pls.

Example:

I only want my back bet or lay bets to be taken between 10% and 50% of the race.

Thanks mate

I've got an example i'll be posting shortly that does this (using TPD), but can share the screenshot below for now if it helps
The top rules stores the value of the TPD data for distance remaining
Then the following condition is added to ensure it triggers only in the last 15% of the race

Dallas, I see you are using TPD condition.
So i guess it wont work without TPD sub will it ?
What about the built in race % meter ?

You don't need a TPD sub to use the settings in this post, all the files you do need are in the OP including a standard race times file to estimate the approx time and populate the custom columns.

If you've installed V1.58 you can also display the race meter across the top of the screen, and use either Bet Angels estimated timings or use the same standard times file that populates the custom columns - which would probably make more sense as your columns and race meter will match up perfectly then

Hi,

I'm am a bit stuck . Down my part of the world we have a lot of weird race distances and can't work out how to round the race distances. I have changed the furlongs to meters but when you get a race distance of say 2238 meters is there an easy way to round this without having to input every stupid distance. I've used the In- running STD timer.

any help, thanks

Sorry must of missed this earlier

Instead of each rule having a specfic race distance, you can add another condition to create a range, ie,
Race distance is greater than 2200
Race distance is less than 2400

The more accurate you want it the tighter the range would need to be
