getting the impression the longer points are hurting medvedev more in this one.. just a question of whether grigor can keep it in play for long enough.

Dimitrov getting almost no winners on his first serve with Medvedev standing so far back, most points are neutral after the return

Against nearly anyone, I would tend to agree. Andreescu and probably Halep (as she's been for the last few years), maybe Osaka would be the exceptions.

She really seems to be made of stern stuff, especially for her age. And enough of it to withstand a comeback rally from even Serena.

Good call! Only just turned up for the second set.
Did say it once it was a lot closer to the first set being wrapped up at 5-3, rather than 3-1. But I would have said the same then as well.
