Roddick out and I caught the swing to Lu. An excellent afternoon's work.

Men's quarterfinals today, great stuff! I intend hitting all these hard, and hopefully getting some big trades.

Federer versus Berdych:

Should be easy win for Fed

Tsogna versus Murray:

Murray's style is suited to Tsonga, Murray should win easily.

Djok versus Lu:

Djok should win, but he doesn't like the heat and Lu is in good form, upset possible.

Soderling versus Nadal:

Nadal is vulnerable on grass and showing some signs of knee problems again, further he has particular problems with Soderling, best chance of an upset!

And Federer is out!

Its been coming though..

Hes been very poor this tournament by his high standards and i knew he would go out to the first tough test he had.

He was all over the place today, some terrible unforced errors, even right at the end when he needed to be at his best.

The Soderling / Nadal match takes on increased importance now.

Continuing to Green-Up to an ever increasing amount on Murray as tournament winner. Murray's the new favourite now, he must surely be in with a great chance of his first grand slam this year!

It remains to be seem how he'll react when suddenly the pressure is lumped on him (more than the others) now that Federer is out and suddenly the public will be expecting it from him. I remember an interview before the touranment in which he said that he would rather win the US open than Wimbledon because of all the madness and hype that goes with it - imagine what it would be like if he gets to the final. Not a good minset to have IMO, could well hamper his chances

Tsonga is a classic serve and volley player. His serve is excellent and if you get it back he's at the net to put it away. Murray needs to find a way past this to get to the semis.

Nadal seems to be struggling a little all the way through the tournament but Murray's record is only 3-7 against Nadal and one of those was a retirement. Murray is 4-6 against Soderling.

Berdych is playing brilliantly against Djokovic in this first semi final.
