must have been a bad match for you swing traders as well!

dont like Djokovic maybe wanting Medvedev to win clouded my judgement
Came away with barely a handful of ticks and glad to to make a loss, been a similar story in a few finals this last 12mths

was expecting more of an even match up to be fair, Meds lost his head somewhat me thinks
+1 was a bit disappointing from a trading perspective for me

...the difficulty in tennis is that there is no guarantee of any momentum shifts.

I may be wrong from what I recorded I’m kinda guessing you didn’t get involved until really late on?

Djokovic AO Final winning scores:

2021 - 75 62 62 (Medvedev)
2020 - 64 46 26 63 64 (Thiem)
2019 - 63 62 63 (Nadal)
2016 - 61 75 76 (Murray)
2015 - 76 67 63 60 (Murray)
2013 - 67 76 63 62 (Murray)
2012 - 57 64 62 67 75 (Nadal)
2011 - 64 62 63 (Murray)
2008 - 46 64 63 76 (Tsonga)

I wonder what the odds now are on Djokovic winning all four GS's this calendar year?

...interesting article on BBC Sport today:

GOAT: Novak Djokovic closes Grand Slam gap on Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer

Not only was Novak Djokovic playing for the Australian Open title on Sunday, he was playing catch-up in the race to be crowned the 'GOAT' in men's tennis.

The number of Grand Slam titles is the most obvious and easiest metric for those who wish to determine - and not everyone does - which man is the Greatest Of All Time.

Serbia's Djokovic won in Melbourne to land an 18th major title, moving him two behind Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer's all-time leading tally of 20 Grand Slam singles victories.

Beating Russia's Daniil Medvedev for a ninth Australian Open title may prove to be pivotal in the race.

If he was around in any other era, he would have won many more grand slams.
