+1

And the Djoker odds on. Whether he wins or loses is he already the GOAT?

Maybe the GOAT has been in front of us the whole time and we've been distracted in the Roger v Rafa side show? Perhaps an otherwise difficult personality can't be the GOAT? Post his youthful brat period I've always warmed to Federer, but does liking a personality equal GOAT.

Still waiting for the rain to clear at SW19!

Am 4-5 miles from there and I can confirm it is still raining, heavier than the light drizzle it's been most of the morning. There's a heavy burst on weather map coming in over kent at the moment that appears to be heading this way so I'll be concentrating on centre court & court 1 due to roof (believe the roof is finished at 1)

Captain Tom Moore's daughter looks young enough to be his granddaughter.

Bit boring these first round matches, they only go one way.

Always love how perfect and green the courts look on day 1

Went to school at Wimbledon college which is one of the schools used for ballboys (other Merton schools are used as well). At 6ft 4 I was too tall as apparently the focus would be on me on the TV rather than the players

Not all of them, many top players are known for being slow out the starting blocks

Andy Murray for example was literally a ATM for several years in them, even earned the nickname BoM (Bank of Murray) and he inspired a bot I still use to this day in many of the early round matches (slightly tweaked over the years but a remarkably simple bot still)
